Yoga for Kids
Yoga classes designed especially for kids!
Join us for kids yoga. Ages kindergarten to 5th grade. This class will include moving and stillness with lots of fun games! No equipment is necessary. Participants are welcome to bring their own mat. Please wear comfortable (not too loose) clothing and bring a water bottle. It is best not to eat 1 to 2 hours before class. All are welcome – modifications will be offered for limited mobility. A few of the benefits of yoga for children include better balance, strength and flexibility, increased spatial awareness, compassion for self and others, and longer attention span. Diane Duane is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor who has been teaching movement to children and adults for nearly 40 years.
