Tech Tales - Storytime for Young Explorers

Tech Tales is the Computer Museum of America's weekly summer story reading series geared for children 12 and under. Each week they present a different story with a corresponding activity about a STEM/STEAM based topic or person.

As the Computer Museum of America concludes their 2023 Tech Tales program, they invite you to join them for a final reading of the summer, Have You Thanked an Inventor Today? by Patrice McLaurin. Follow along with a young boy as he uses and appreciates the many inventions created by African-American inventors throughout history. This inspiring and informative book will encourage children to recognize and celebrate the contributions of diverse inventors in shaping our world. To cap off the program, Tech Tale participants will have the opportunity to put their engineering skills to the test by building a miniature zipline to transport computer parts.

Tech Tales is every Saturday at 2 PM during June and July.
