Tech Tales - Storytime for Young Explorers
Tech Tales is the Computer Museum of America's weekly summer story reading series geared for children 12 and under. Each week they present a different story with a corresponding activity about a STEM/STEAM based topic or person.
This week’s Tech Tales is a reading of What Do You Do With an Idea? by Kobi Yamada. This inspiring story teaches young readers that ideas are valuable and worth exploring, even if they may seem impossible or uncertain at first. Through beautiful illustrations and a relatable main character, children will be encouraged to embrace their ideas and nurture them into something great. Don’t miss out on this exciting and thought-provoking book! For our Tech Tales activity, participants will have the chance to brainstorm and design their own inventions that could solve everyday problems.
Tech Tales is every Saturday at 2 PM during June and July.
