Summer Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group
A DBT Skills Intensive Teen Group for rising 10th and 12th graders!
Join Rise Therapy Center this summer for a one-of-a-kind DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Teen Group designed just for rising 10th–12th graders! This dynamic, co-ed group goes beyond traditional therapy — blending specific DBT skills with creative and expressive activities like arts & crafts, therapeutic roleplay, storytelling, and more. This group is perfect as your teens transition back to school and helps equip them with the skills they need to be successful!
Over the course of 5 weeks, teens will learn how to manage emotions, improve relationships, and build resilience — all while learning ways in which they can practically apply DBT skills, tapping into their imagination, and connecting with peers in a supportive, judgment-free space. Whether you're painting through your feelings or acting out real-life scenarios to practice coping strategies, this group is about learning through doing — and having fun while doing it.
Our camp is led by experienced Rise therapist, Sara Kassam, who is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She specializes in kids and teens and brings expertise in working with students in both individual and group settings. She is an enthusiastic therapist who makes every child feel comfortable being themselves and learning new skills!
