Share the Love of Reading

Fun-filled children's activities and book giveaway featuring Danny Schnitzlein, author of "Gnu and Shrew". Children will sing, laugh, and draw.

Roswell Reads, in partnership with the Roswell Library, Friends of the Roswell Library, and Bookmiser, presents Share the Love of Reading. Honoring longtime Roswell Reads volunteer Darla McKenzie and her husband, Michael McKenzie, the event will feature crafts and a free hardcover book for the first 100 families. Award-winning local children’s author and entertainer Danny Schnitzlein will read from his book, “Gnu and Shrew,” named one of the best STEM books in 2021 by the National Science Teaching Association. He will also offer drawing lessons. No registration is required, but attendance is limited to 200. The program is aimed at children in Kindergarten through fourth grade, but all ages are welcome.
