Pre-registering online is highly recommended; however walk-ins will be accepted. Please be sure to have your household account set up ahead of time. Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all. Auditions will be held at the Cultural Arts Center and students must prepare a 60-second comedic or dramatic monologue, 60-second cut of a Broadway style song (no rapping Hamilton or acapella singing) with digital accompaniment, and be prepared to learn show choreography as part of the audition process. Auditions will be held January 12th and 13th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with callbacks on January 14th. Expect to stay the full 2 hours. ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE DAY.
