Roswell Rings

A Community Bell Ringing Ceremony Honoring the 250th Anniversary of the First Public Readings of the Declaration of Independence.

To honor our nation’s milestone anniversary, we invite every neighbor and visitor to participate in Roswell Rings. This free event is centered around a community-wide bell ringing on July 8th to honor the 250th anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Join us for a brief ceremony on the rear lawn of Roswell City Hall, or simply step outside at exactly noon to make a joyful noise. This wave of sound will serve as a symbol of America’s independence, the unity of our community, and our collective hope for the future. Bring a bell or noisemaker from home to help ring in the celebration.
