Roswell Photo Walk Mobile Phone Photography Competition 2026

Join us on Saturday, October 3, in downtown Roswell for a photography challenge using mobile phones. $15 entry fee.

This event is open to all photographers. $15 entry fee. $100 prize for first place photograph.

In this annual event hosted by the Roswell Photographic Society, we will explore historic Roswell the morning of October 3, capturing our city in its glory. As an added bonus, this year’s Photo Walk coincides with the 76th Annual Frances McGahee Youth Day Parade, which will proceed down Canton street.

We will meet at the Heart of Roswell at 9 in the morning to review the particulars of the event. We will then take pictures from 9:30-11:30. You then have an hour to review and edit your pictures on your phone and select 3 for the competition, which must be uploaded to a photo site by 12:30. We will have link for the upload. The organizers will be at Bizarre Coffee during this time to help post-process pictures and with uploading. The images will be judged by a professional photographer and the winners announced at 1pm. The first place image earns a $100 prize.
