Roswell Dance Starz 2026-2027 Company Auditions

Want to audition to join the Roswell Recreation and Park's Resident Dance Company?

The audition will consist of a short class in ballet, tap and jazz technique basics and short combinations. Middle school & high school dancers may be asked to put on pointe shoes for ballet and learn a contemporary routine. All interested dancers are encouraged to attend the audition, regardless of dance experience. Roswell Dance Starz is dedicated to dance education and does accept dancers who have not taken all 3 styles listed above if the dancer shows interest in learning. Please arrive early to register and be assigned a number. Bring ballet shoes (including pointe if you have been on pointe for more than 1 year), tap and jazz shoes, and wear proper dance attire (no sweats or cheer shorts). All auditions are closed to the public and we ask family members to wait in the lobby. Roswell Dance Starz is the resident dance company of the Roswell Recreation Performing Arts Department. Our company is comprised of dancers ages 7 to 18, providing dance training in multiple dance techniques. Dance Starz offers an outlet for a variety of performing opportunities and classes focusing on technique, performance, artistry, and education. Company members are invited to experience professional workshops, master classes and a variety of exceptional educational dance opportunities. Our dancers are also offered the optional opportunity to compete in local and regional dance competitions.
