RALC Computer Class: Internet Browsers & Finding Information
This session introduces web browsers, search engines, and strategies for evaluating online sources.
The internet offers a vast amount of information, but finding reliable information can be challenging. This session introduces web browsers, search engines, and strategies for evaluating online sources. Participants will learn how websites work and how to recognize trustworthy information. A valuable skill for navigating the modern digital world. (The Digital Fluency Series is about giving you the vocabulary and understanding to decide what it is you want to buy, learn, and use. This is not hands on training in any particular software or device – it will present an overview of options in each class’ topic area.)
