Performer Spotlight: A Story & A Song with Mountain Sam Wheelock

Roswell Cultural Arts presents a summer series for adults, featuring some of the finest local talent in the southeast. What better way to spend a hot, Georgia summer, than with three cool local artists ready to shake the rafters at Roswell Cultural Arts Center?

On Sunday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m., Sam Wheelock's one man show, "A Story and a Song '' offers a revealing look at the music of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. This soundscape plants one foot in the Great Smoky Mountains while the other wraps around the world connecting the past to the present.

Joining Mr. Wheelock in the series is acclaimed local swing band, Big Peach Swing Band, on June 25 and the powerhouse vocalist, Victoria Hill, on July 16. A series subscription is available for all three shows!
