MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT! Putters League Championship & World Adventure Golf Tour Qualifier
A championship built for serious putters.
The 3rd Annual Putters League Championship + WAGT Qualifier brings players together for a competitive full-day mini golf tournament experience at AREA 51 The Fringe Miniature Golf. Players will compete in a championship setting with qualifier opportunities, event-day energy, and a format built for serious competitors and passionate putters.
Whether you've been putting competitively for years or you've never picked up a putter outside of a casual round with friends, this one's for you. Registration is open to anyone — no ranking, experience, or invitation required. Locals are especially welcome to come try competitive mini golf for the first time, and spectators are welcome too — come cheer on the field, enjoy the atmosphere, and see what the sport's all about, even if you're not playing.
Who can play
Anyone 16 years old and older! — four divisions: National Pro, Georgia Pro, Women's, and Amateur. New to competitive putting? The Amateur division is a great, low-pressure way to jump in.
Why it matters
This is the 14th and next-to-last stop on the 2025/2026 World Adventure Golf Tour. The tournament winner gets an invite to the WAGT Finals at Adventure Golf Horní Bezděkov, Czechia (May 8–9, 2027). More info: wmfwagtour.com
It's also scored as an AMA BLUE Event — up to 30 points toward national ranking — and the only AMA BLUE-ranked tournament in Georgia for 2026. More info: amaminigolf.com
Format
National & Georgia Pros: 4 rounds
All other divisions: 2 rounds
Re-pairs all Pros after Round 3
Tiebreakers
Pro 1st place: 6-hole playoff starting at Hole 13

Amateur & Women's 1st–3rd: sudden death at Hole 18
Equipment & rules:
National Pros must use a WMF-sanctioned ball (available now, reach out to us!); European style minigolf ball (3D, SV, Pengvin, etc.) balls also permitted, some available onsite for use and purchase.
Bring up to 18 balls; no swapping mid-play on a lane
House putters/balls available — but if you're a beginner, don't worry, you don't need your own gear to play. Bringing your own (rubber-faced okay) is just an option for those who have it.
Tee shots from behind the third grout line
Max 7 strokes/hole (pick up after 6)
Lowest score on prior hole tees off first
Hole 18: putts stay between tape lines; rollback to original spot = no penalty
No out-of-bounds penalty on any lane — bring the ball back in where it left, or onto the course with relief
Rulings by any National Pro with prior tournament experience
Follows WMF regulations — full rulebook at gov.minigolfsport.com
Scorekeeping: Each pairing keeps one official score in Squabbit and a signed paper scorecard. Enter/verify scores after each hole.
