Lavender Festival
Come enjoy this annual event inspired by Barrington Hall's own historic lavender queen, Evelyn Simpson, a descendant of Roswell King, one of Roswell's founding families. Lavender Festival is an intimate artisan and crafts vendor show for the local community with a focus on history, homeopathic products and goods, arts and crafts, and overall wellness. Food trucks, entertainment, music, and kids' activities will be available. There will also be a special Lavender Beer from Gate City Brewing Company. Festival is open for free to the general public. Barrington Hall will be open be open for free as a self-guided option with docents available for information and questions.
This year, following Lavender Festival, the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department will host a classic film screening of Casablanca on the lawn of Barrington Hall. Bring your lawn chairs and/or your comfy blankets to join in the fun of singing along and shouting out your favorite movie quotes!
