History Seek Saturdays: Civil War Tour of Smith Plantation

Children learn about the Civil War while touring Smith Plantation.

Children, grades 4-8, are invited to join us at Smith Plantation to learn more about the Civil War home front in Roswell and this area. We will tour the house and outbuildings at Smith Plantation while discussing what life was like for those who experienced shortages and the loss of loved ones. We will discuss the invasion and occupation of Roswell and its effects on the people who lived here, while exploring people’s differing perspectives on the War.
