Dusty Roads is a high-energy Georgia-grown Americana band, formed in 2014 by Atlanta based musician, John Mickelson. When you're at a Dusty Roads show, expect to hear echoes of the legends of bluegrass and country music, such as Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and Willie Nelson. The band thrives on being musically inclusive, interweaving a multitude of genres. Close your eyes, and you may even hear reverberations of great musicians from across the halls of time... like Django Reinhardt, Bob Marley, and even Avicii. The band walks a tightrope during each show, reverently counterbalancing acoustic and electric instruments to surge together as one, all while allowing each other their own sonic space. ‘Come take a trip, down that long dusty road’.
