Dia de Los Muertos

Roswell will host the 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos Festival on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate this traditional Mexican holiday, which will feature an afternoon and evening filled with fun, remembrance, and community spirit.

Día de los Muertos—or the Day of the Dead—is traditionally celebrated October 31 to November 2 in the central and southern regions of Mexico. The holiday is centered around remembrance of lost loved ones, as communities come together to celebrate their memory and pray for their safe spiritual journey.

This year's festival is presented in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico and Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces.

The festival is free to the public, with the exception of food vendors and one special ticketed experience.
