For 40 years, Cherish the Ladies, one of America’s most heralded Irish music ensembles, has won the hearts of audiences worldwide with their rousing blend of traditional music, captivating vocals, and propulsive step dancing. They have toured the world performing, recorded 18 critically acclaimed albums and an Emmy award winning PBS television program, “An Irish Homecoming.” Under the leadership of Joanie Madden, the 2021 National Heritage Fellowship Award winner and All-Ireland flute and whistle champion, these extremely gifted women create an incredible moving experience brimming with sheer talent and exuberant entertainment. IrishFest Atlanta returns to historic Roswell November 8th - 10th, 2024! For the twelfth consecutive year, this beloved festival will celebrate the rich traditions of Irish music, dance, films, Irish cuisine and more. Immerse yourself and the entire family in Irish culture and participate in the workshops, céilí dancing and other festivities. Along with two celebrated Irish bands, Cherish the Ladies and The Friel Sisters, local Irish musicians and dancers will entertain on two different outdoor stages.
