Roswell CVB | Blacksmithing Skulls with Michael Dillon: This Too Shall Pass
October 25

Blacksmithing Skulls with Michael Dillon: This Too Shall Pass

Forge iron, relieve stress, and learn blacksmithing in a fun, inclusive setting—an unforgettable hands-on sculptural experience!

Participants will forge both independently and with a striker as they shape raw iron into symbolic skulls—creating memorable, hands-on blacksmithing experiences. The instruction will be energetic and immersive, providing participants with foundational blacksmithing skills and a solid understanding of the tools essential to the process.

Michael Dillon is a highly accomplished local artist who works with metal in all forms—driven by both passion and profession. Known for his large-scale architectural work, Dillon blends design, functionality, and sculptural intent as the foundation of his aesthetic. His skull sculptures reflect these same principles and serve as personal memento mori, reminding us that no matter how dire the moment, everything is relative—and this too shall pass.
