Acting for Film: Adults

A specialized program focused on the unique demands of acting for the camera.

Students will learn onscreen performance techniques as well as the art of the audition. Through practical exercises, scene studies, and on-camera practice, students will gain confidence and refine their abilities to deliver authentic performance for film/television. This class does not participate in the Spring Recital. A class presentation will be held during class at the end of the year.

  • Admission: Fee: $162 (Roswell Residents) | $243 (Non-Residents) Required Age: 18+ years old, as of 9/1/2024 Prerequisites: None Resource Person: Taryn Spires Register Online for this Class Notes Comfortable clothes should be worn to class. Participants may go barefoot or wear clean soled sneakers (no dirt/mud on soles). Please do not wear dresses in class unless shorts are worn underneath as the participants do lots of movement and floorwork in class.
