Festival Season Has Arrived
Roswell, Georgia is full of amazing events throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
Now that the winter blues have gone away, we can begin to see lots of fun on the horizon. During the months of April-October, there are several reoccurring events that can be enjoyed by visitors and locals. Since the majority of the events are free to attend, you have no reason not to check them out!
Every Saturday April 13-October 26: Roswell Farmers and Artisan Market. Located in the City Hall parking lot, there are a slew of vendors ready to bring you your seasonal favorites. The Roswell FAM is dog friendly, and typically has live music playing. What a great way to start the weekend!
Every third Thursday April-October: Alive in Roswell is an event spread across four places in Roswell. All in walking distance! Historic Town Square, City Hall Lawn, East Alley, and Canton Street. Each area has vendors, food, beverages, and live music to enjoy. You can count on this event being packed every month!
Every first Saturday May-October: Roswell Riverside Sounds Concert Series brings live music to Riverside Park. Attending the concert is free, you will just want to bring your own chair! Bringing your own picnic is an option, but you probably will want to grab dinner from the local restaurants that set up at each concert. Beer, wine, and sangria will be available for purchase as well. Live music, great food, delicious drinks, and the view of the Chattahoochee River in the background…doesn’t get much better than that!
Every second Friday May-October: Music on the Hill will be back for another year of free concerts on the lawn of City Hall. Set up as a completely BYO event, you’ll want to pack your own blanket/chairs, and a picnic dinner! You could also get something to-go from one of the great Canton Street restaurants to bring over while you listen to the tunes play.
