Big Creek Park mountain biking trails also add to the city’s Bicycle Friendly Community status! Built and maintained by RAMBO, which a 100% volunteer groups, over 7,000+ man-hours have been spent on the trails. Singletrack trails, freeride area with jumps, berms and the infamous gully run means there is something for all level of riding. In addition to the mountain bike trails, the Big Creek Greenway is also accessible from the park, boasting concrete greenways and boardwalks which boarder a wetlands area, and connect to a neighboring greenway for added miles of riding.
Affiliated with the Southern Off-Road Bicycling Association, RAMBO organizes mountain bike rides for all levels of experience on a scheduled weekly basis and augments these with day trips and weekend outings.

Hospitality Highway Century Ride
There is nothing like it! Thousands of riders mount their bicycles to ride on Georgia’s official Hospitality Highway – Georgia 400! Once cyclists exit Georgia 400, the ride course winds through beautiful areas of cities in North Fulton County, and areas of Cherokee and Forsyth Counties.
For those not up to the full 100-mile Century, there are shorter routes available, giving all levels an opportunity to be part of an exciting event. Routes include rest stops, complete with bathrooms, full technical support, and a variety of snacks and drinks.

Fresh Bikes offers a variety of rental bikes that are a perfect way to explore the Big Creek trails or greenway. They also offer options for serious riders looking for their next bike. They do not supply clipless pedals.

Bike-Share Program in Roswell
The Zagster bike-sharing program at Big Creek Park on Old Alabama Road allows visitors to use cruiser bikes for local trips on the Big Creek Greenway or anywhere locally, as long as the bike is returned to a Zagster station. The Roswell Zagster station joins four Alpharetta stations—three along the Alpharetta portion of the Big Creek Greenway, and one at Avalon. To borrow a bike, riders download the app at our partner city’s site, www.zagster.com/Alpharetta.

Multiple options to rent for the day. Rental rate varies between $40 and $80 per day. Rental includes helmet and bottle cage. Choice of flat pedals or toe cages.
