Museum After Hours: Sci-Fi Summer Night

Embark on an out-of-this-world evening at the first Museum After-Hours event of the year on Friday, June 14th, from 5:30 to 9:00 PM at Computer Museum of America (CMoA). Celebrate the fun and imagination of all things science fiction by dressing as your favorite Sci-Fi character and exploring artifacts that once seemed like fiction through a scavenger hunt.

Tickets include full museum access, light bites, and live music from The Human DJ. We are excited to share an exclusive peek at a life-size Borg drone mannequin prop used in Star Trek: First Contact (Paramount Pictures, 1996). Also on display, for this event only, a high-quality replica bridge communications console inspired by Star Trek: The Original Series, prominently signed on the console in gold ink by original series cast member Nichelle Nichols (“Blessings, Nichelle Nichols & Uhura”) plus three stars of The Next Generation: “Go Boldly! Jonathan Frakes,” “Death to all who touches this, Michael Dorn, ‘Worf,'” and “Marina Sirtis.”

👽 Costumes are encouraged! Embrace your inner space explorer or alien adventurer by donning your favorite sci-fi attire. Whether you’re a time-traveling hero, a steampunk scientist, or a cosmic villain, you’ll be welcomed at CMoA’s Sci-Fi Summer Night.

Museum After-Hours events are 21+ only. A credit card bar will be serving a selection of beer, wine, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.

Thank you to our friends at LGE Community Credit Union for sponsoring this event.

This 21+ event features live music, a cash bar, lite ‘bytes’, and full access to CMoA’s exhibits including Chips: Powering the World.

Members may reserve tickets at no cost. Non-members can purchase tickets at the link below.
