How to Spend a Rainy Day in Roswell, Georgia

When you live in the southern region, you rarely find snow throughout the winter time, but you will find rain.

Even though rain isn’t ideal weather when you are going on a trip, it doesn’t mean that you will be rained out of a good time in Roswell, Georgia! Read along to see some of the suggestions we have to spend a day in Roswell even if there is some rain.

Southern Trilogy Tours

Roswell is full of rich history ready for you to explore. Rain won’t stop you from having a wonderful experience at the Southern Trilogy Tours. The historical antebellum homes in Roswell are not just incredible to look at, but the stories held within those walls will take you back in time. Bulloch Hall is the home where Theodore Roosevelt’s mother, Mittie Bulloch, was raised. It is also where she wed Theodore’s father fondly known as Thee. Barrington Hall is the home of Roswell King’s son, Barrington. He cofounded the colony of Roswell with his father and built this home at the highest point to be able to look over the town. Listed as one of Atlanta’s Most Beautiful Homes, you will want the chance to tour this magnificent place. The Archibald Smith Plantation is full of actual furniture and artifacts of the family. With 10 original outbuildings, including slave quarters, there is a lot to take in on a visit to the Smith Plantation.

Performing Arts

Roswell, Georgia has been known for their arts, and the performing arts is certainly part of that recognition. You could see a show from the Georgia Ensemble Theatre that produces five shows a year.
