Roswell's Community Quilt Project

Come together to create a quilt-inspired work of art to represent Roswell's America 250 Celebration.

Roswell's America 250 celebration connects the community through textile art. This public art activation aims to celebrate textiles, fabric design, threads, and quilts by engaging community members to create pieces that form a cohesive and meaningful design. The primary goal of the project is to create a space that celebrates individuality through expression, collaboration, storytelling, and design. Residents can join curated workshops, led by professional artists, to craft individual "quilt squares" that will be woven together into stunning public art installations, symbolizing unity, creativity, and pride in America’s heritage. Open community engagement events will be held on July 4, 2025, Youth Day October 4, 2025, and during the holiday season (date TBD). Public installations will be presented in March and August 2026.
