Roswell Remembers Memorial Day Ceremony 2025

This annual event brings together thousands of attendees, who have joined the Roswell Rotary Club and the City of Roswell to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.

This event is rain or shine. The program will include displays and music provided by the Roswell New Horizons Band, a military ceremony, the presentation of colors, Honor Guard, the singing of the national anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance, a POW/MIA tribute, and the solemn laying of the wreath. United State Army Colonel (Retired) Carl Hamilton (Skip) Bell, from Marietta, GA is the guest speaker. He was inducted into the Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame in 2023 for his numerous acts of bravery during two tours in the Vietnam War. As a recipient of five Bronze Stars, two for Valor and fifteen Air Medals, (one for Valor), Skip Bell’s extraordinary leadership and selfless acts of heroism are a testament to the uniform and this great nation he has served for 31 years. At the conclusion of the program, a BBQ lunch featuring chicken and pork will be served on the premises. Tickets can be purchased on-site on the day of the ceremony.
