Icons of African Wildlife Art Exhibition by Lance Johnson

Get to know all the interesting animals from the African continent!

J. Lance Johnson is an artist with a unique focus primarily on world wildlife. As a lifelong enthusiast of exotic animals, he read about them and studied them closely as a child and a teen. Now, as an adult, it is his goal to lobby for the protection of all creatures, large and small. Animals should have the innate ability to roam and live free from human pressures. His role is to capture the realistic beauty of each beast on painted canvas to show his community the value and majesty of the individual wild animal starting with Africa, where J. Lance feels this is needed the most.
