Super Bowl LIII Weekend in Roswell, Georgia
If you haven’t already heard, the biggest sporting event of the year will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia.
Super Bowl LIII will be taking over downtown Atlanta Sunday, February 3. Hotel rooms have been booked since it was announced that the Super Bowl would be coming, leading to many visitors needing to book rooms outside of the city. If you are coming to stay in Roswell, Georgia for the big game weekend, welcome! We are just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta, and you will not be disappointed that you stayed here. The Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau knows that almost all of the visitors that are going to be staying with us will be heading down to the city on Sunday. It is no secret that traffic can be a problem in the Atlanta area. In an effort to avoid sitting in traffic, you can consider taking the MARTA. With plenty of bus stops that will take you right to station, or even driving and parking at one of the stations, you can ride the MARTA directly to the Mercedes Benz Stadium for the game. For as low as $2.50 for a one way ticket, you can’t beat that price!
Most visitors to Roswell will be busy on Sunday with the game, but there is plenty to do in Roswell the rest of the weekend!
Crafted in Roswell– Are you a fan of craft beer, wine or cocktails? Take the time to stop by the Visit Roswell office and grab a Crafted in Roswell passportrafted in Roswell passport. Simply take the passport to each of the three breweries, buy a drink, get it stamped, and come back to the Roswell CVB office to get a collectors cup!
Get out in nature– Especially to those traveling from up north, weather in Roswell will likely feel really nice for an early February day. If it feels like you need to get outside to enjoy the weather, Roswell is perfect for you! The Chattahoochee Nature Center, hike around the Roswell Mill, walk the boardwalk along the Chattahoochee River, or do a walking tour of our historic district.
Canton Street– A commonly known part of Roswell is Canton Street. Boutique shopping, boutique restaurants, and art galleries make up this special part of town. You will want to make some time to stop here because you don’t really come to Roswell, Georgia without experiencing Canton Street!
