Spring Break in Roswell, Georgia

Spring Break doesn’t have to mean expensive trips and beaches.

Whether you are looking for a quick getaway, or a local looking for a fun way to spend a stay-cation, Roswell, Georgia should be on your list! Just 30 minutes up the road from Atlanta is a kid-friendly, outdoor getaway, with incredible restaurants, shops and experiences.

Roswell is well-known for being a fun, family-friendly destination. A favorite spot for families is the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Recently opening their Eco- Canopy Walk, CNC has upped the thrill on a trip to see their 127 acres. In addition to the zipline obstacle course of the Eco-Canopy Walk, you can book a canoeing trip on the Chattahoochee River with one of their guides. You are sure to see lots of wildlife and if you are lucky, a cute river otter! Outside of the CNC, stop by My Clayground with kiddos to create great pieces that you can take home to remember such an awesome Spring Break to Roswell.

If you are looking to be active and enjoy nice weather now that winter is finally stepping aside, Roswell has great options. You can keep it simple and walk the boardwalk along the Chattachoochee River. You will see lots of wild life as you leisurely stroll. Check out our local history by taking the walking tour of the historic district. You can do that by downloading this map. A fan favorite is to hike the Vickery Creek Trail and take in the beautiful waterfall. All of this outdoor fun is within minutes of the action on Canton Street.

For those that have visited Roswell, they know that Canton Street is an absolute must! There are tons of restaurants, local shops, and even breweries to stop by that you don’t want to miss. Canton Street has other fun, hidden gems along the way. Looking for a unique experience? Try an olive oil and vinaigrette tasting at Oli + Ve. As you continue down the street, head over to Raiford Gallery to see beautiful handmade jewelry and other art. If you are lucky, you might even be there while Judy Raiford is creating pieces and you can watch her make in her workshop!
