The holiday time in Roswell, Georgia is full of whimsical nostalgia.
The already quaint town is flocked in red and green and the Antebellum Homes have an added sparkle with holiday décor. Visitors and locals alike will not be bored with the amount of fun in store throughout town. The Roswell Convention and Visitors Center is going to breakdown a list of some things you have got to see!
Roswell Visitor Center Antique Train- Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm, Sat. 10am-4pm and Sun. 12pm-3pm
To start your journey in Roswell, you will want to stop by the visitor’s center for information. While you are in the office, be sure to witness the antique train works its magic. This train is over 65 years old!
The Nutcracker- Starting Friday, December 7, 2018
December 7-9, 2018 you can catch this holiday classic at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. The Atlanta Dance Theatre will transport the audience into Clara’s world and make them question, “Is it really all a dream?” You can get your tickets on their website here.
Southern Trilogy Home for the Holidays- Sunday, December 9, 2018
The Historic Homes of Roswell put together a night full of family fun that you do not want to miss. In addition to seeing each of the homes decorated to the nines, you can find children’s crafts, tasty treats and a step back into history! Even outside of this event, you are welcome to tour the homes and see the decorations during their normal hours and hear in greater detail the history of each home.
Enchanted Woodland Wonders- Sunday, December 9, 2018
Reindeer’s, fairy homes, food trucks, crafts, hot cocoa, oh my! Enjoy a day at the Chattahoochee Nature Center and experience all of the wonderful pieces of the nature center with a holiday twist! One of the most talked about events at the nature center, families can walk the grounds, interact with animals, enjoy a meal, and do holiday inspired crafts. This is the opening night for the Enchanted Woodland Trail for Fairy Houses and Gnome Homes. Families are encouraged to search the ground for these magical homes throughout December, January and February.
