On the Water

Float in an inner tube, canoe, paddleboard or kayak down the Chattahoochee River. During the warm Georgia summers, it feels great to be in the crisp river water taking in the sights and sounds. You can bring your own equipment, or rent through Nantahala Outdoor Center. Their latest outpost right here in Roswell has the most up-to-date watercraft rentals for your trip down the Hooch!

Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) is another great option to step into nature. If you are interested in the water but want more than just riding the current along the Chattahoochee River, you can sign up for one of their guided tours! This will still get you out on the river, but with someone who is going to fill you in on the wildlife that will be surrounding you. As you plan your visit to CNC, be sure to grab some food from any one of our local restaurants and have a picnic lunch on the grounds.

Off the Water
