4th of July Festivities in Roswell, Georgia

Summer is in full swing, but something about the 4th of July makes it official.

Maybe it's all of the red, white and blue, or the encouragement to get outdoors for cookouts, splashing in the pool or floating down the Chattahoochee. If you're going to be in Roswell over the weekend of the 4th, check out the list of events happening around town!

Thursday, July 4

Barbecue & Bluegrass: A 4th of July Celebration on the Grounds of Barrington Hall

Barrington King was known for hosting quite the party to celebrate Independence Day. The staff at Barrington Hall hopes to keep that tradition alive by throwing a great event featuring live music, vendors, and barbecue from the Mill Kitchen and Bar.

Where: Barrington Hall, 535 Barrington Drive, Roswell, GA

When: July 4, 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Admission: Free to get on the grounds, food, and items from vendors will have to be purchased.

July 4th Fest at From the Earth

From the Earth Brewing Company is hosting its first July 4th Fest with live music from Perpetual Groove Acoustic Trio and Interstellar Echoes. Attendees will need to purchase tickets in advance. There are two different package options for tickets, VIP and General Admission. For more information on the ticket packages, click here.

When: July 4, 4:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

Admission: General Admission, $20-30. VIP $80-95

20th Annual Roswell Fireworks Extravaganza

20 years of bringing the community together for live music, food, kid activities and of course, fireworks! All you need to do is bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and a cooler of water. Fireworks will begin at dark but will go off no later than 9:30 p.m.

Where: Roswell High School, 11595 King Road, Roswell, GA

When: July 4, 5:30 p.m.

Admission: Free, but food trucks and access to inflatables will require purchase.

Friday, July 5

Roswell Puppet Series

The Pied Piper from All Hands Productions will be making its Roswell premiere! This story based loosely on the traditional Pied Piper follows Peter Picker as he hopes to become a banjo-picking legend.

Where: Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA

When: July 5, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Admission: $5 for ages two and up

Saturday, July 6

Roswell Riverside Sounds

Get ready to groove with a performance by rock, pop, and soul band Moves. They will take the stage in Riverside Park along the Chattahoochee River. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and a picnic! Food and drinks will be available for purchase as well.

When: July 6, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Admission: Free

Breeze Kings at Gypsy Rose

An Atlanta staple, this blues band will rock the house at Gypsy Rose. They have been making music together for over 20 years, and are ready to show their talents to Roswell. Grab your seat early at Gypsy Rose and enjoy the food trucks they will have on site.

Where: Gypsy Rose, 964 Alpharetta Street, Roswell, GA

When: July 6, doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Admission: $15 and can be purchased here.

Do Good Party at Land of a Thousand Hills

Land of a Thousand Hills wants to celebrate their customers that have helped make it possible to raise money for their missions. They will be throwing a summer bash full of live music, raffles, drink specials. We recommend a purchase of their Summer Sippin' drink while you're there!

When: July 6, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Admission: Free
