Mayors' Great Wrap-Up

	On October 17, 2011, Roswell Mayor Jere Wood and Alpharetta Mayor Arthur Letchas accepted a challenge to see which Mayor could wrap the most presents in 19 minutes. The Roswell CVB and the Alpharetta CVB bought identical gifts, wrapping paper, bows and scissors to insure an even 'wrapping' field. Crowds gathered at Northpoint Mall to cheer on their favorite Mayor. While the clock ticked, the Mayors, with the help of their wives, feverishly wrapped. Mayor Wood narrowly edged out Mayor Letchas with 28 wrapped gifts to 25. The real winner of this event was North Fulton Community Charities which received $1,000.00 worth of gifts!
